Minutes of August 2, 2021 C.V.W.C. meeting
Tim called the meeting to order at 7pm.
Roll call of officers, three members absent
Board and committee reports were presented
Treasurer; Tim presented the monthly income, expenses and account balance, noting we are in good financial condition. Report was approved
Tournament; Tim reported the Rathbun results and discussed the fishing conditions and presentations that were used. The 2022 N.T.C. will be in Mobridge South Dakota.
D.N.R.; Milo reported the stocking of one and a half inch Wipers into Big Woods and other area lakes. Angelo reported the removal of Cat Tails on North Prairie Lake could take place this fall.
President; Discussion of participating or not, in this year’s Boat and Sport Sows took place. Currently the majority consensus was not to participate. We will be having a Club picnic September 11th at George Wyth shelter, 4-8pm. Walleye stocking and road cleanup is set for October 16th and the membership approved purchasing $5,000.00, approximately 1750 6-7 inch Walleye’s for Dike, George Wyth and Big Woods Lakes. SCHEELS donated 24 Zebco 202 spin casting reels for our kid’s fishing events.
Tips, tactics and presentation; Doug Bonwell provided a Planner Board presentation.
