Minutes of November 3, 2025 Official C.V.W.C. meeting.
Tim called the meeting to order at 7:02 with 20 members present.

• Roll call of Board members – all present.
• October 6 minutes read and approved.
• Treasurer report by Jeff read and approved.
• DNR Report:
  • Thank you received from Dan Kirby and Chris Mack for walleye stocking.
  • North Star Hatchery will give tours.
  • Michael Siepker replied to our stocking petition:
    • DNR approach to stocking is unchanged from the past.
    • River strain harvested from the Mississippi River.
    • Fairport Hatchery closed due to invasive species.
    • Rathbun Hatchery will raise river strain beginning in 2026.
• Tournament report:
  • Pool 9 – November 1
    • Smallest turnout of 2025
      • 15 teams signed up.
      • 14 teams fished.
    • 39 fish recorded – 138#.
  • 2026 schedule to be determined.
• President’s Report:
  • Donation for walleye stocking received from three Scheels associates contributing their annual bonus:
    • Joneh Smith
    • Logan Hansen
    • Caleb Paulsen
  • Boat Show – January 23-25
    • Moved by Steve Maley – 2nd Steve Grimm
      • Purchase gift cards for Fareway and 2 $250 Scheels gift cards for raffle.
    • Motion passed.
  • ​Tackle box donation received from Utopia Grove 3D in Spenser, Iowa.
  • “Official” needs to be on all Club publications.
