Minutes of March 2, 2026 Official C.V.W.C. meeting.
Tim called the meeting to order at 7:03 with 23 members present.

• Roll call of Board members – all present.
• February 2 minutes read and approved.
• Treasurer report by Jeff read and approved.
• Tournament report:
  • All anglers must read 2026 Rules due to substantial changes:
    • Use smartphone – no cameras.
    • Score six fish (Mulligan) – only five count.
  • Boat numbers to be drawn after meeting.
• DNR Report:
  • Trout Stocking Kids’ Day:
    • Dan Kirby will be at North Prairie Lake at 10:00 am.
    • Sign-up sheet passed around.
    • Milo and Angelo will bag signs along Viking Road.
    • Fishing pole for raffle/give-away.
  • Mike Siepker and Dan Kirby or Mike Wynn will speak at May 4 meeting.
• President’s Report:
  • No election – all candidates elected by acclimation:
    • President – Peyton Groen.
    • Vice President – Donnie Soash.

  • We have received five spots for NTC this year.
    • Nobody has signed up.
    • Tim will contact TWF to release spots.
    • Club has paid for up to five spots in the past – bylaws changed to partial payment of teams with no limit on numbers of teams.
  • Volunteer needed to send Memorials to families of Club members.
  • Need more Tips and Tactics presentations at meetings.
  • Thank you given to exiting Trustees.
  • Thank you to Tim for 14 years as President.
