Minutes of June 2, 2025 Official C.V.W.C. meeting.
Tim called the meeting to order at 6:58 with 22 members present.

• Roll call of Board members – one absent.
• May 5 minutes read and approved.
• Treasurer report by Jeff read and approved.
• Tournament report:
  • Storm Lake, May 31.
    • 20 boats – most for Storm Lake
    • 73 fish scored
    • 252.82# total weight
    • $320 Club share
    • $300 in 12 new memberships
    • 2nd largest tournament
    • Checked cards/photos at weigh-in – 5 laptops.
    • Certificates handed out for winning team and big fish.
• DNR Report:
  • Shocked Sweets Marsh May 5.
    • Good bass population.
    • No rough fish.
  • Shocked George Wyth mid May.
    • Over 24” northern.
    • 4-5# bass.
    • A few crappies.
  • Will stock walleyes in rivers early June.
• President’s Report:
  • Future events – Volunteers are needed.
  • New battery is needed for minnow races.
    • Moved by Steve M.

    • Approved.
  • Fish still needed for Family Fun Day.
  • Walleye Stocking & Road Cleanup – Steve M. & Steve G. volunteered to organize.
  • Gateway Riverview Park Grand Opening.

      • Answer questions on fishing the Cedar River.
