Minutes of December 2, 2024 C.V.W.C. meeting

Tim called the meeting to order at 7:00 with 18 members present.

• Roll call of Board members – Three absent.
• November 4 minutes read and approved.
• Treasurer report by Peyton read and approved.
  • Check from Pizza Ranch proceeds has been received.
  • Police report filed on theft of tips.
• Tournament report:
  • Working on schedule for 2025.
• President’s Report:
  • Pizza Ranch official fundraiser will be February 19.
  • Donation to Amvets for facility usage:
    • $200 last year
    • Motion to approve $200

  • TWF memberships – Liability coverage.
    • Motion to approve $480 for 12 memberships to guarantee insurance coverage.

    • April 26 at North Prairie Lake.
    • Cattails are being removed by City Parks Division.

  • Walleye stocking and cleanup:

      • Herald Getty Lake boat ramp.
      • Dike Lake boat ramp.
      • Contact Lori for placement at George Wyth Lake.
      • Contact Kevin Cross for placement at Big Woods Lake.
    • Will be checking on adding Casey Lake (Hickory Hills) to the rotation.
    • Walleye fry will be available in the spring at $0.05 each.
    • 4”-8” fingerling were $3.80 each this year.
  • Banquet:
    • February 1.
    • Waverly Fire Museum.
    • Emails to be sent to Trophy Sponsors.
  • Boat Show:
    • January 24-26.
    • $250 gift card for a meat bundle.
  • 2025 Membership are due.
  • Hank’s Ice Jamboree to be December 4.
  • Dan Kirby gave special thanks to the Club.
  • Milo recognized for his work with IDNR.
